Marketing for the music and film industry

As a marketing professional I specialise in niche and fan markets for music, television and film; including arthouse, world cinema, genre films and animation.

I’m currently a marketing consultant for Software Logistics Group and its multiple brands; manufacturers of vinyl and other physical media, headquartered in High Wycombe.

My experience

A ten year career in this field started n 2003 as a Marketing & Production Coordinator for the now-defunct ADV Films UK, and ended in 2003 as Head of Marketing for Network Releasing. There I oversaw the UK DVD release of Mark Cousins’ The Story of Film and the theatrical release of Oscar-nominated No (2012), a story set in the Chilean democracy movement of the 1980s . From across that decade I have experience of multi-channel marketing for media products, brand strategy and guardianship, alongside market and product research.
